Becoming a parish councillor is a rewarding way to contribute to your community

There are two vacancies on the Parish Council

The Parish Council meets on the third Monday of every month in the Parish Hall. Meetings usually take two hours.

You need to have the time to attend each one.

In addition to these regular meetings, councillors may need to attend other meetings or community activities, such as representing the council on an outside body or working on specific projects aimed to make Stoke Climsland the best possible place to live. This work may take on average 3 hrs per week

If you feel that this is an opportunity you would enjoy, please email parishclerkscpc@gmail.com, stating:

  • Your contact details
  • Why you would like to be a councillor
  • What experience and skills you would bring

You can also ask any questions you might have, and you will be sent more details about the co-option process
